and may I say Happy Mondays were fantastic last night? Shaun was in top form, and Julie - Rowetta's replacement - should have a solo deal - she'd be huge. When they did Step On, the house went nuts.
How were the Furs? (What a strange bill.)
the Furs were good. Unfortunately I spent the entire length of their set behind the PA waiting for an audience with Shaun and the sound back there was pretty dire. What I thought would be a 10 minute wait turned out to be a 100 minutes. Still, 'The Ghost In You' and 'Heaven' sounded fantastic through the murk. Now, if only they had played 'Flowers'...
